Job Description:

We're looking for an Xero Accountant on behalf of an Australia-based client that provides professional business services, helping clients achieve growth through financial expertise and strategic advisory. This role involves working with larger clients, complex business structures, and high-net-worth individuals, delivering accounting, tax, and advisory services while also supporting junior team members.


  • Salary range: RM 6,000- RM 8,000/month (based on skills & experience)
  • The role requires on-site presence in the beginning.


Key Responsibilities

1. Client Services

· Manage and maintain clients' financial records using Xero accounting software.

· Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.

· Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

· Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

· Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and best practices.

· Collaborate closely with clients to resolve financial matters and support their business growth.


2. Team Leadership and Development 

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and knowledge sharing.

· Support team members by sharing insights on Xero features and accounting standards.

· Contribute to improving workflows and client servicing through internal discussions and teamwork.


3. Firm Support and Development

· Stay updated on developments in Xero software and accounting regulations.

· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and value through automation and best practices.

· Consistently deliver high-quality work to uphold the firm's standards and contribute to its growth.


Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred.

· Proven experience working with Xero accounting software.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a client servicing role.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
