Senior Finance Executive (6-Month Contract)

Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia (Primarily Remote)
Client Office: Ayer Rajah Crescent, Singapore
Working Arrangement: 5-day work week

Contract Duration: 6 months

Salary Range: RM5,000 – RM6,000 (depending on experience and suitability)

Role Overview

We are sourcing for a Senior Finance Executive on a 6-month contract to be outsourced to one of the clients. This role is intended to be fully work-from-home, with the successful candidate based in Johor Bahru.
To support effective onboarding, system training, and familiarisation with internal SOPs, the candidate is expected to be on-site at the client's office 2–3 days per week during the initial period. Thereafter, the role will transition to a fully remote arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day finance and accounting operations
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting
• Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
• Work with Microsoft Business Central for accounting and reporting tasks
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and finance processes
• Liaise with internal stakeholders as required to support finance operations

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with full sets of accounts and month-end closing
• Experience using Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems is an advantage
• Able to work independently in a remote setup
• Willing to be on-site in Singapore during the initial onboarding period
