We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Singapore based client's growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing full sets of accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance and operational excellence.

This role requires proficiency in Xero, with working knowledge of QuickBooks, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
• Handle journal entries, accruals, and adjustments accurately and timely manner
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external stakeholders as required
• Maintain proper financial documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement accounting best practices

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficient in Xero, with working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a professional services or cross-border environment is an advantage
